Apple Cider Vinegar to the Rescue

Apple Cider Vinegar Magic

The benefits of organic apple cider vinegar has been around for ages, and at the risk of hashing away at a topic that has been done over and over, I run that risk to extoll the many virtues of this natural, economical, easy to get and readily available substance.

First port of call is to reiterate that it is optimum to use the organic variety made by fermenting pressed apple juice until the sugars turn to vinegar. The ‘organic’ bit is vital to keep the ‘mother’ intact. How does one know if their product has a ‘mother’ attached? You will recognise the ‘mother’ in apple cider vinegar by cloudy strings visible in the bottom of the bottle. And therein is the ‘miracle’! This culture brims with beneficial enzymes, pectin, vitamins, mineral salts, amino acids, and trace minerals.

An Apple a Day

It is the acetic acid in apple cider vinegar that packs the punch. Acetic acid is potent and studies attest to its ability to suppress the accumulation of body fat and liver lipids, absorb fat and inhibit the cells from absorbing fat.

In 2009 a double-blind test revealed, “vinegar intake reduces body weight, body fat mass, and serum triglyceride levels in obese Japanese subjects.” Each group drank a 500 ml drink containing 30 ml, 15 ml, or 0 ml of vinegar daily for 12 weeks. Those in the 30 ml and 15 ml groups had lower BMI, visceral fat area, waist circumference, and body weight to the control group of 0 ml. The 12-week weight losses were modest: 1.2 kg in the 15 ml group and 1.7 kg in the 30 ml group. These two groups consumed a similar number of calories to the control group and also performed a similar amount of exercise, so the effect is not likely to have been due to an impact on appetite or other lifestyle changes. It was concluded that consumption of vinegar might reduce obesity.

Apple Cider Vinegar to the rescue for your home for deodorising and cleaning, beauty, healthy cooking, weight loss, everyday health and animal health.

Many have benefited from the magic of apple cider vinegar both inside and out. Apple Cider Vinegar boasts a host of other benefits from deodorising and cleaning the home, to beauty and aging, to healthy cooking, to health disturbances to pet health, to weight loss. Apple Cider Vinegar comes to the rescue in hundreds of instances; the short version is that this miracle of nature possesses antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties.

Some of the uses for apple cider vinegar for everyday health:

Immune booster

Gastric and heartburn

Kidney Stones

Athlete’s Foot

Blood sugar regulator

Hair loss

Sore Throat

Blood pressure

Dermatological conditions

Increases Calcium Absorption

Iron booster

Weight loss

Honestly, the list is endless and you may even come up with your own. The thing is – you just have to try it. Use it in your home, for your pets, for your health and beauty!

How much is enough?

I started with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water (can either be warm or cool,) and before the month was out had increased it to 1 tablespoon. Some days, I add 2 tablespoons to 500ml of water and sip it throughout the day. I super-boost the benefits by using apple cider vinegar with olive oil as dressings.
